Details for Supercross Futures were part of Feld Entertainment’s announcement to hype the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Championship. The program will focus exclusively on the 250SX Futures Class by running the amateur division at seven rounds in the 2022 series, having the AMA recognize it as an amateur National championship, and making it the main route in the Road To Supercross.

The 250SX Futures program took specific items from the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship program, including the adoption of the standardized rule package and a two-tier qualifying system.

The AMA and Feld Entertainment split the continental US into parts (South, West, Southwest, Northwest, Northeast, South Central) and designated elite events in these areas to serve as Primary Qualifiers with an established race format and requests for Supercross-style obstacles. You can view the complete rule book by clicking here.
