2024 INDIANAPOLIS SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE

The Monster Energy Supercross Championship is ready for the tenth race of the season, the 2024 Indianapolis Supercross. The Indianapolis event always attracts a large turnout of spectators and competitors. Early ticket sales indicate a record-setting crowd from all parts of the Rust Belt will be in the stands. 107 racers filed entries with the AMA, with 60 riders listed in the 250 East Coast Region and 47 in the 450 Class.

Today will be the seventeenth Supercross event at Lucas Oil Stadium, but the first to run the Triple Crown format. The 250 East Region races will run for 10 minutes and a lap, and the 450 Class motos will go for 12 minutes and a lap.

The Hoosier State’s dirt tends to develop deep ruts, and as you’ll hear from the guys interviewed later in the video, getting through the deep trenches lap after lap seems to be more of a concern than the repeat gate drops and intensity of the race format.

Dirt Wurx will be busy maintaining the course throughout the day. Key areas to get through cleanly lap after lap will be the endzone table-to-table lane, a rhythm section that runs the length of the field, a sand turn after the finish line, and, of course, the nine whoops.

Here are the points going into the day.

Tom Vialle is at the top of the 250 East Region with 74, Cameron McAdoo is second with 73, Pierce Brown is third with 69, Haiden Deegan and Coty Schock are tied for fourth with 62, Seth Hammaker and Daxton Bennick are split for sixth at 59, Max Anstie is eighth with 53, Henry Miller is ninth with 48, and Jalek Swoll tenth with 47.

Jett Lawrence leads the 450 Class with 185, Cooper Webb is second with 172, Chase Sexton is third with 165, Eli Tomac fourth with 159, Ken Roczen fifth with 153, Jason Anderson sixth with 147, Aaron Plessinger seventh with 146, Justin Cooper eighth with 108, Dylan Ferrandis ninth with 107, and Justin Barcia tenth with 95.
