The Mini Major by Seven Goes East!

The Mini Major was started five years ago in Southern California as a race that would focus 100% on the kids, offering a specially built track and competition from the best mini racers in the region, with unique class options that range from PW all the way to Supermini. The event was also made special by great sponsor participation and after-racing activities. Needless to say, it’s now a priority event for all mini racers on the West Coast.  

As an idea that started a couple of years ago things have finally lined up and the Mini Major will be making its way to the East Coast this year!  With the help of SEVEN and Matt Walker of Moto X Compound, we will be visiting the Silver Dollar MX track in Reynolds GA November 6-8 2020.  

“Six years ago”, Craig Davis and I sat watching the 50cc class out on the track at a TWMX Race Series event, and he came up with the idea of a race just for kids,” said Donn Maeda. “The event that we launched a few months later was a tremendous hit, and it feels great to give back to the sport that we all love. Now, under the SwapmotoLive.com umbrella, we have an even bigger opportunity to make the Mini Major a nationwide sensation!”

The Mini Major East by SEVEN will be held at Silver Dollar MX at 42 Raceway Dr, Reynolds, GA 31076.  The event will take place over three days offering a Friday practice (included with race registration) and racing on Saturday and Sunday.  The entry fee to the facility will be $35 for all racers and spectators.  You will be able to sign up for three classes for $110.  There is no membership required and we will use MyLaps timing and scoring transponders for this event.  RV camping for all three days will be available for $50.  There will be super limited spaces with electrical hookups at $100 going for rent online soon.
